Scunthorpe United Match reporting

We have been busy getting ready for our match day visit. Using highlight videos of past Iron games, we practiced making notes of the key aspects of the game. We also had a go at some Chris Kamara style reporting ready to record Live at Glanford Park.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our visit to see The Iron play Oldham Athletic due to the treacherous and bitter weather at the time. Despite this our hard working junior reporters have still been able to research and produce match reports. First step was to watch and take notes from the match highlights video on Youtube. Once completed we read up on the match reports from The Iron’s own website, the Scunthorpe Telegraph and the BBC Sport website.

These provided some very different writing styles and enabled our pupils to create their own detailed reports. Well done!
