Goodbye Sue!!
It has been a sad week for us here at Study United as we bid farewell to our friend and colleague Sue Moulds. For over 18 years, Sue has been an integral part of the Study United family here at the Sands Venue Stadium and on Wednesday of this week she began her retirement.
Here’s a little about Sue.
After 30 years in the travel industry Sue opted for a change of career. In 2000 she graduated from the University of Lincoln with a BA (Hons.) English and History degree and focused her attention on education. She had worked in a supporting role at a local primary school and had seen first hand the benefits that the Study Centre could offer. She officially joined us in September 2002 and took on the Heading for Success sessions, a joint project with the Learning Support Unit aimed at keeping year 11 students engaged with their study. Sue commented: "The more I heard about Study United FC, the more I realised that it was something that I would like to be a part of."
