Study Centre refurbishment - Part 1
You may have seen back in September that we are on the move!
We’ve been flat out over the past few months designing a new purpose built study centre here at the Sands Venue Stadium. We’re moving downstairs to the Old Showground Bar. Plans have been drawn up and we’re well on the way to be ready for a grand opening in the New Year. In fact we’ve already booked four schools in on our 10 week Supporter 2 Reporter programme.
Today we bring you a peek at what we’ve been working on.
One of the first jobs to complete was the removal of the old bar. This would then allow us to install the air conditioning units. The rollers shutters were removed and then the hard work started taking out a very solid wooden bar. We managed this over a 2-3 days with just a selection of hand tools. The difference was amazing. It really opened up the room giving us lots of space to teach in.
